Auckland based, Rarebirds Interiors were tasked with injecting life into the home of two local real estate agents.

The clients, wanting to channel the original character of their home, wanted to focus on a more avante garde solution to the renovation of their homes kitchen and powder room.

A warm oak floor, already selected by the client became the basis for building the materiality of the scheme for the kitchen and powder rooms. Layers of texturality were created using Leathered Marinace natural stone, smooth neolith and paint along with undulating pearlescent white tiles and fluted oak.

The project features the stunning Milli Pure Linear Tapware in Gunmetal finish. The boldness of the vertical detailing on the mixer made it the perfect choice to complement the fluted oak cabinetry and the gunmetal finish sits elegantly on the natural textured stone and with the circular dowel screen in the powder room.
