Named after the street it’s on in Victoria’s Surf Coast, Project Felix is the home of Damien and Rebecca Leijer, the husband-and-wife team that run Leÿer design studio.
The house, built entirely in an amazing 5.5 months for their young, growing family, is a minimalist timber construction with inspiration drawn from Scandinavian design and relaxed New Zealand beaches.
The long-term outlook was a major focus—the materials and finishes chosen for many of the surfaces and fixtures are meant to gracefully change as the home ages. A perfect example is in the couple’s choice in tapware.
The timeless, sophisticated styles of our Scala and Calibre collections were chosen for their kitchen and bathroom, all finished in Living Rustic Bronze. This unique finish will develop a gorgeous patina as the fixtures are used over time.
