Denfair 2017

The third instalment of Denfair was one to be remembered. Running from 8-10 June, the boutique contemporary design event wowed crowds featuring a beautiful array of both established and debuting Australian brands, alongside some exciting international brands.

With exhibitors from Bang and Olufsen to Daniel and Emma plus emerging designers from Universities/institutes all over Australia, we felt inspired.
We loved the introduction of some warmer tones to this years’ show, incorporated alongside the much-loved Scandinavian textures of wood and concrete.

For us personally, we loved the exciting emerge of bathroom ideas. As one of the most-renovated areas of the home, we noted a range of retreat-like aesthetics, particularly at Artedomus.
Rounded tap ware designs were quite prominent and veering from the common chrome finish for taps, a range of matte black and brushed finishes were noted.

Exciting new concepts for basins were seen at stalls such as Wood Melbourne - featuring timber and concrete basins, reflecting the neutral Scandinavian-finishes. Archier also featured a range of ceramic basins in an array of colours and textures.

A beautiful day filled with inspiring ideas, wonderful design concepts and warm interactions were enjoyed. We look forward to the next installment of Denfair in 2018.
